Our work for China Central Television’s CCTV4 rebrand won two golds and a silver trophy at the 2016 PromaxBDA Asia awards this month.
The channel’s on-screen identity package, created by Brand Energies and crafted by Coffee & TV, won golds for Best On-Air Channel Branding and Best On-Air Idents. The PromaxBDA silver was awarded for Best Animation.
The rebrand features a new logo, a red frame around the channel’s standard number four, which turns it into a dynamic branding tool. The artwork aims to represent and celebrate ancient and contemporary Chinese culture and sensibilities.
The complete project includes a series of 10-second channel Idents to complement a comprehensive on-screen presentation system.
