Sebastian Strasser and BMW take us on another ride in this film for the all new BMW X1. Following on from the success of the previous campaign we were asked to take the vfx out of the city and into the great outdoors. The spot was shot throughout California on a road trip that took in Death Valley, Mammoth Mountain, Yosemite, San Fran and the redwood forests of Humbolt. We follow an attractive couple who seem completely unconcerned that the world is undulating beneath them and have a great laugh driving around, speeding over bumps and avoiding cataclysmic impromptu waterfalls. Full visual effects post work was completed at Time Based Arts including a remote grade with LA.
