So How Does It Work?

Mummu produced this short animated video to raise awareness for the Suspended Coffee movement.
A caffè sospeso (Italian: suspended coffee) or pending coffee is a cup of coffee paid for in advance as an anonymous act of charity. The tradition began in the working-class cafés of Naples, where customers of coffee shops would pay twice for one espresso, instructing the barista to log the paid but untaken beverage in an "in suspense" book. Paid items would remain in the log book until someone less fortunate would come and inquire if there was anything paid for or in suspense.
