Y&R Global CEO David Sable Selected as One of LinkedIn Top Voices of 2016
Y&R’s Global CEO David Sable received the distinguished honour of being named among LinkedIn’s Top Voices of 2016. The second annual list from the professional networking website singles out members of LinkedIn’s invite-only Influencer group who engage readers, expand their following and who have had the biggest impact over the last year.
Sable, who has more than half a million followers, shares his weekly points of view on the intersection of business and life and how technology influences the two.
“A theme that consistently interests me is that while digital is everything, not everything is digital,” says Sable and wrote about for LinkedIn’s Big Ideas in January. Some of his notable posts this year include:
· “What I Learned from Muhammad Ali,” an 'emotional response' to the passing of the legendary boxer.
· “Yahoo: A Cautionary Tale of Mistaking Tech for Brand and Vision,” exploring Yahoo’s rise and fall.
· “Equal Pay Doesn’t Mean Equality. Some Thoughts on Righting the World From Rio to the Board Room,” looks at gender equality through the lens of sports.
LinkedIn has over 3 million unique writers on the publishing platform that share 160,000 articles per week.
