Associate Creative Director & two creative teams join

Wunderman UK has bolstered its creative team in London with a new associate creative director and two new creative teams

Stefanie DiGianvincenzo – former DDB Melbourne creative and founder of Melbourne’s first copywriting collective, Apostrophe – has joined Wunderman UK as associate creative director. Having picked up metal at Cannes for her work on Reach's Open Book Project, and taking out the inaugural Young Glory competition, she will now partner with Evan Jones, associate creative director, to oversee Nokia, Xbox, Shell, Jaguar and new business.

Wunderman UK has also hired copywriter Alessandro Miasi and art director Andrea Foresi to work across Microsoft, Nokia, Shell, Coke, Xbox and EDF Energy.  The duo started working together in 2011 at The Others, a Milan based ad agency, on clients such as Evinrude, Monsanto and RCS Group.

Creative team Sam Shelton and Dan Castle will work across all accounts, with focus on Nokia, Shell and Coke and support the agency’s social and content offering.

All will be reporting to Chief Creative Officer Matt Batten.

Commenting on the hires, Batten said: “Our creative team is producing amazing work and achieving great results and so increasingly in demand from our growing client base. The new hires will be instrumental in bringing a wealth of talent to an already gifted team.”

DiGianvincenzo added: “I’ve heard great things about Matt Batten from colleagues back in Melbourne. So when I was offered the chance to work with him at Wunderman UK – particularly at such an exciting time for the agency – I jumped at it.
