Over the past year at Geometry, Murray has proven instrumental to the agency’s future

WPP’s end-to-end creative commerce agency is proud to announce the promotion of industry game-changer Tyler Murray to North American CEO as part of an overall plan to strengthen its end-to-end commerce offering. Tyler is elevated from his previous post as North American President as part of a planned succession and will work closely with Global CEO Beth Ann Kaminkow. Current North America CEO Scott McCallum will transition to the role of North American Chairman.

Formerly serving as Chief Strategy Officer, Managing Director of Chicago and Global Business Lead on a significant multinational client at TracyLocke, Tyler joined Geometry in 2018. He arrived with a track record of creating new capabilities that blend data and creativity to win and grow businesses.

Over the past year at Geometry, Tyler has proven instrumental to the agency’s future by further developing on Geometry's promise to deliver creative commerce ideas that leverage deep consumer, retailer, and media data to grow brands with predictive ROI. These efforts have contributed to key new business wins including American Greetings, the Walmart Customer Team business for Coke, among several others.

As part of Geometry’s global growth strategy, this promotion rounds out the agency’s investment in creating the world’s leading creative commerce agency with Tyler’s recent hires of FCB/Red’s Curt Munk as North America Chief Strategy Officer and a new North America Chief Creative Officer to be announced next month.

“North America is a priority market for Geometry as well as WPP. We are focused on strengthening leadership and our offering to meet the needs of our US clients who are focused on driving growth at speed.  Tyler is the type of trusted advisor for leading this challenge with clients and for Geometry. We make a great team going back to TracyLocke and I am excited to have him at the helm at this dynamic time reimagining the potential in Creative Commerce.” Notes Beth Ann Kaminkow.

On his new role, Tyler notes, “Commerce has evolved into one of the most exciting arenas for brands and retailers. Today people can buy anything, anytime, anywhere. These new consumer expectations along with changes in technology, data, and media have all pushed commerce to become the next great canvas for creativity.  Only Geometry has the heritage, deep retail intimacy, and breadth of capabilities spanning experiential, conversion media, and omnichannel to be able to help their clients thrive in this highly exciting yet disruptive time. I feel blessed to have the privilege to work alongside Beth Ann and the exceptionally talented folks at Geometry to continue to build the world's preeminent end-to-end creative commerce agency."

Geometry is thankful to Scott McCallum for his tremendous contributions to the agency over his last 10 years of service. Scott's expertise, passion and inspirational leadership style, focused on the 3 Ps: people, product and performance, made an important impact and difference to both Geometry and the agency’s clients.
