2016 was the year of filter bubbles. Twitter and Instagram were no longer showing posts in chronological order. Our Facebook News Feed filtered out everything except the things it wanted us to read. But it isn’t just social media platforms that use filters. All of us filter and edit our posts before putting on social media to make ourselves look cool. We don’t tell real stories anymore.
This year, Wieden and Kennedy London created Naked Playlist, as our original project, so we can show our real self again. It's an unfiltered and uncoolified version of what you listened to; it reveals the tracks you listened to most often on Spotify.
