W+K Amsterdam Appointed Lead Creative Agency for AB InBev Brand Jupiler
Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam has been appointed the advertising lead for AB InBev InBev brand, Jupiler.
The account for Belgium’s most popular beer, and one of the strongest beer brands in Europe, will see the agency produce campaigns with the first work launching in 2017.
Arnaud Hanset, AB InBev Marketing Director Benelux, says: “We were looking for an agency that allows global exchange of best practices and learnings across our international portfolio of core brands, as e.g. Wieden+Kennedy is also supporting Bud Light in the US. This new collaboration should help us to build further growth in the brand’s key markets, Belgium and the Netherlands. As the new lead creative agency we look to their powerhouse of talent and experience to take the brand to new heights together”.

Jupiler is W+K Amsterdam’s second AB InBev account, with the agency named global agency of record for Corona in July 2015, when the network began working with the brewer. Earlier this year the agency also launched ‘Infected By Music’, a global cross-brand campaign for AB InBev’s partnership with Tomorrowland, which included an original EDM track and 3-minute music video created with iconic Dutch DJ and producer, Tiësto.
