W+K Amsterdam appointed creative agency for Médecins Sans Frontières

Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam has been appointed creative agency for French non-profit, Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF).

Founded in Paris in 1971, MSF is an international, independent, medical humanitarian organisation that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural disasters and exclusion from healthcare. MSF offers assistance to people based on need, irrespective of race, religion, gender or political affiliation.

Launching later this month, the first project will see the agency produce a campaign targeting the French market and aimed at young donors. 

“One of the major assets of MSF is to be supported by millions of small private donors across the world. They are the ones who own the brand.” Says: Mélanie Cagniart, Médecins Sans Frontières Director of Fundraising. “Wieden+Kennedy understood this point of difference and made it the basis of a unique creative approach. An approach that aims to further grow the audience who enable MSF to remain independently funded.”
