Wavemaker Announces Lucas Brinkmann as DACH CEO

Wavemaker, the media, content and technology agency, has appointed Lucas Brinkmann as new CEO for Wavemaker in the DACH region. As leader of one of Wavemaker’s largest markets, Brinkmann joins Wavemaker’s global executive committee and will report to Global CEO Tim Castree when he officially joins the agency in April 2019.

Brinkmann comes from Google Germany where he has been since 2013, latest as Director, Google Marketing Platform Agency and Alpine. Before Google, Brinkmann was CEO of iProspect Germany and held roles with Aegis Media in Germany and the UK, working within change management and product development. With 20+ years of experience within media and tech, Brinkmann is a seasoned professional and a well-respected figure in the German media industry.

Lucas takes over from Matthias Bruell who is leaving Wavemaker to pursue opportunities outside of the group. Brinkmann and Bruell will work together to ensure a smooth transition.
