Wanda Welcomes Director Nathalie Canguilhem
Wanda is excited to welcome Nathalie Canguilhem. A new addition to the roster for commercial & music video representation who has, right off the bat, signed a series of fashion films with Nowness.
Nathalie Canguilhem's passion for film, fashion and music is evident in everything she touches. Her career began writing fashion articles for Vogue and Glamour magazine. This led her to styling jobs for top photographers such as Nich Knight, Juergen Teller and Jean-Baptiste Mondino.
Nathalie eventually segued into becoming an Art Director for various record labels. While she was working at Because Music she collaborated with artists such as Prince, Justice, Uffie x Pharrell and Metronomy, overseeing photo shoots, styling, music videos, etc. She also met Charlotte Gainsbourg, with whom she continues to collaborate.
Nathalie has worked as Artistic Director on many projects with Gainsbourg, including her collaboration with Current Elliot as an aid to the design of the collection and on photo shoots. She also managed the Vuitton project and all the artistic sessions. This is how she found herself with a camera in her hands for the first time.. At which point her passion for directing was discovered and unleashed. Nathalie is working on exhibition projects '24h To Live' and 'The War Mess' and her most recent directing project for Nowness collates her many passions, resulting in two beautiful and sleek fashion films.
