Bird & Bird with City A.M. share top 20 digital innovators

Visualise has been named as one of the South East’s most visionary digital companies in the inaugural ‘Digital Innovators Power List’ launched Thursday 20th October by international law firm Bird & Bird LLP and London-based news outlet City A.M.

Bird & Bird hosted the launch at their new space at 12 New Fetter Lane, London with CityAM.com. profiling the top 20 companies who have been identified as leading digital innovators in sectors including across media, health tech, fintech, ed tech and cybersecurity.

Nicholas Perry, Partner and Head of London, Bird & Bird, said: “London and the surrounding areas are today the breeding ground for some of the world’s most pioneering companies, so we wanted to celebrate that talent and explore how digital is transforming the world around us through this initiative. Technology and innovation lie at the heart of what we do at Bird & Bird so – alongside City A.M. and our partners – we are thrilled to be able to recognise these companies and develop a network of like-minded individuals who can inspire one another.”

The Digital Innovators Power List was agreed by City A.M., Bird & Bird and supporting partners, digital association, Digital Catapult, tech PR agency Hotwire PR and information platform Springwise – after careful consideration on which companies, in their respective sectors, have the most captivating stories of innovation, are setting rather than following trends, demonstrate the most revenue potential, are home grown businesses and are creating a buzz in social media.

The accolade follows an extremely successful year for the Visualise team which saw multiple client wins, including MSF, The Economist andVodafone Foundation and a strategic partnership with Sennheiser. As well as this latest piece of recognition, Visualise’s work with The Economist has won a number of other awards including BIMA, The Drum’s Dadi Awards and silver at the Lovie People’s Choice Awards.

“With such a solid VR production foundation underneath the business ensures we continue to deliver added value to our clients. On the operations side we have integrated new services such as business and strategic planning, and also developed a range of  new products – including our latest VR app offering," said Christian Burne, Business director at Visualise. "Extending our service portfolio into those new areas was a critical response to both the increasing level of sophistication we’re seeing across the VR industry, and the ever expanding diversity of the type of work we are commissioned to produce.”

Visualise will participate in a series of quarterly events hosted at Bird & Bird over the course of the year, where panels featuring representatives from the companies on the Power List will give their perspectives on the factors driving digital innovation in the City and how their creations are transforming everyday lives.
