Directed by Dan diFelice aims to rekindle our desire to explore

Battle for Atlas - the new Ubisoft game - is an open-world space adventure, in which gamers can play in a unique way : each battleship can be controlled via a realistic « modular toy reproduction ».

With this new game mode bridging virtual & real world, imagination and creativity have the driving seat. Gamers are able to switch weapons, battleships or pilots right from the controller, impacting in real time their game avatar. This represents a break through innovation, enabling unique gaming experience, while not overshadowing the interest of the game and adventure in itself. The challenge : reminding all gamers that nothing is more inspiring than the space immensity.

Don’t tell me Sky is the limit when there’s footprint on the moon .To mark the release of the Starlink game : Battle for Atlas – on the 16th October 2018, BBDO PARIS rekindles our desire to explore and takes us on a cinematic journey, directed by Dan diFelice, who draws his inspiration from the great science fiction films, where storytelling is king. In the film, worlds meet, reality merges with imagination and players find themselves facing their own interpretation of the story, calling on the film’s promise: “Give your imagination some space”.Starlink : Battle for Atlas is a game where imagination has pride of place, to be able to adapt to any situation, thanks to a new way of approaching video games: modular toys. Combining virtual and actual realities, players will be able to change their weapons, ships and pilots, directly on their controller, to impact their avatar in real time in the game. This open-world also allows players to discover and explore 7 distinct planets, each with its own flora and fauna, and fight the enemy of the Atlas star system: the Forgotten Legion.
