Pepsi film has underlying notions of its battle with Coca-Cola

In Japan, there’s a folk tale of a hero who symbolises 'challenge'. His name is Momotaro (Peach boy).

He was born from a peach. One day, along with his new friends, dog, monkey and pheasants, they teamed up to fight the big bad red demon. Yes, just like the rival who Pepsi has always been battling with.

Tugboat saw the story as the perfect opportunity to build the campaign for Pepsi's new 'Pepsi Zero' product line.

The popular folk story is told from the brands point of view in the first episode of the campaign series.

The spectacular story will continue through out the year, the next spot is scheduled around May 2014.
