Clemenger BBDO pushes embarrassing dads to attend Melbourne International Comedy Festival in funny spot

Clemenger BBDO Melbourne has launched an ad for the world-renowned Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s 2014 season.

Directed by Curious Films' Robin Walters, the spot is set in a maternity ward and features a humorous take on a father meeting his newborn baby. 

Festival Director Susan Provan expects that most people will relate strongly to the ad. “Every dad relishes in torturing their kids with bad jokes and dodgy puns,” she said. “Humour is incredibly subjective and for the sake of kids everywhere we encourage fathers to come along to this year’s Melbourne Comedy Festival and learn from the experts. Everyone else should come along to enjoy themselves hugely!”
