The Points Guy Hosts First-Ever Awards Ceremony with Experiential Agency Fake Love

TPG Awards took place at The Intrepid in NYC and hosted over 500 people

At the beginning of December, The Points Guy hosted the first ever TPG Awards ceremony with the help from experiential agency Fake Love. In an upbeat and exciting night, they honoured the best in travel, credit cards and loyalty, including top partners, clients, readers, influencers and press.

This collaboration comes off the heels of the Grammy’s party Fake Love created for The Points Guy earlier this year. The TPG Awards took place at The Intrepid in NYC and hosted over 500 people. Specifically, Fake Love helped create and ideate the concept by assisting with competitive research to formulate ways to make this experience unique by including elements that have never been a part of an awards show before. 

Among honouring the winners, and the awards themselves the event included activations from the evening’s sponsors, including:

- An American Express cocktail hour pre-ceremony.

- A Chase Sapphire Lounge where guests mingled, took photos in front of a lush greenery wall and freshened up at glam touch up stations while sipping champagne.

- A travel themed Photo moment presented by Wells Fargo.

- A special performance by pop-star Bebe Rexha presented by Marriott.

- A Hilton Honors After Party where guests capped the evening with drinks, snacks, tunes spun by DJ Mia Moretti as well as a Photo Booth by Mir Mir.
