The week-long installation sees the studio’s front windows become snapshots of days-gone-by

With the arrival of February comes the yearly celebration of Valentine’s Day, which sees The Mill once again take the opportunity to celebrate the romantic celebration via an installation at their London studio.

Following on from last year's Queen of Arts playing cards design, this year’s #Millcrushin’ design is set to help people celebrate the day by reminiscing over their high school crushes.

The week-long installation sees the studio’s front windows become snapshots of days-gone-by; a classic school desk holding high school books and stationery that has undergone heavy decoration with doodles and love-notes stands in one, further surrounded by a mountain of screwed-up homework.

A giant hand-drawn note taken from a high-schooler's subject-book adorns the other window complete with both Valentine’s and VFX scribbles.

The reception coffee table has been turned into a sea of Post-it notes, each customised with a hand-drawn note or VFX quip.

Wrapping the theme all together are giant paper-love-note-planes, high-school themed stationary in suites and Valentine’s smoothies and milkshakes in the studio Loft bar, ensuring the celebration reaches every corner of Windmill Street.
