The Indie Awards Announces First Wave of Judges

The Indie Awards has announced its first wave of judges for the 2019 competition. The Indie Awards aims to raise the profile of the independent agency sector by celebrating the talent and creativity of indie agencies, globally. Prizes are presented for excellence, not agency size. No bias, no politics, no “Agency of the Year”: just the best work.

thenetworkone is committed to having a diverse jury, and believes in the value of having a variety of opinions and perspectives judging the work. This includes having a fair gender balance as well as judges from diverse parts of the world, from Australia to Kuwait.  

Each judging panel is composed of respected leaders from the best independent agencies around the world, including:

Rania Robinson, CEO and partner, Quiet Storm, UK (Creative)

Martin Albrecht, managing director and founding partner, Crossmedia, UK (Media)

Ana Carrapichano, founder and CEO, Mediology, South Africa (Media)

Laszló Nagy, creative director, ACG, Hungary (Creative)

Rikki Weir, board director, Cirkle PR, UK (Lifestyle PR)

Gail Hopkins, managing director, Make it Happen, Australia (Public Good)

Miguel Ángel Duo, creative director, China Madrid, Spain (Creative)

The judges will convene to select one winner from each of the following five categories: Creative, Lifestyle PR, Corporate PR, Media and Public Good. The winners will be announced at the Indie Awards presentation party on the 29th October 2019 at The Soho Hotel, London.
