The tenthree founder and editor has possibly our most unique pet yet (no spoilers) and aspires to having the time for a good game of Risk
Quin Williams grew up in South Africa spending his time enjoying nature, surfing, sailing and waterskiing. Then he moved to rainy England at the age of 12 so had to find other interests. He thought he wanted to be an artist at first, studying painting and sculpture at Wimbledon art college. Everything changed when he visited a friend working in a small maverick production company and found a three machine umatic edit suite sat in a dark room. Since then editing has been his fascination.

He’s had lots of jobs around film as well as spending his time in the cutting room though. He’s been camera assistant, assistant director and script supervisor in a features production company and he’s written and directed short films, music videos and the odd ad, always gravitating back to editing. He’s cut long form TV programmes, award-winning music videos, short films, adverts and a feature documentary called Ten Billion with Peter Webber. He had a stint at Marshall Street editors before joining Billy Mead as a founding member of tenthree, where he’s since worked with directors like Ben Wheatley, Neil Gorringe, James Griffiths, Mark Jenkinson,  Tom Barbor-Might, Stuart Douglas on many big name campaigns.

Get to know him a bit more through his Essential List.
