Campaign reimagines the bank as one that's built to care for our individual needs

With 61 branch locations, CresCom is now the second-largest community bank in the Carolinas and the highest-performing bank in terms of return on equity for its size in the U.S.

The Brandon Agency has worked with CresCom from its founding onward, beginning their collaboration in 2001 and supporting the bank as it went public.

Notably, its stock has grown over 400 percent since it launched on the exchange five years ago.

The Brandon Agency created a unique brand experience for CresCom built around the idea that consumers wanted a different banking experience than what they were getting from the “big banks” and even other community banks. They wanted personal attention, and a feeling that someone cared and understood their individual needs. 




With this in mind, TBA created the idea of "Nice Banking" and gave the CresCom the unique URL of www.haveanicebank.com, which sits in line with the positioning TBA has built for them since 2010. TBA endeavours to deliver key brand messaging at all customer touch points, as illustrated by the recent campaign.

In total, TBA will spend roughly $1M in media, and videos will run on cable, OTT, pre-roll and paid social, with each tagged to specific product-focused promotions which will change quarterly. They’ll also run print campaigns in various lifestyle publications.
