Tetley Saves Britain from Alien Invaders

A new campaign for Tetley launched last Saturday, to support the brand’s range of teas.

The campaign marks a return to TV for the loveable Tetley brand characters, the Tea Folk, who, in their flat caps and slippers, are set to pop up in unlikely situations.

Created by Creature London, the first ad sees Gaffer, Sydney and Tina, and their trusty tea trolly, turn up just as an alien race, lead by General Facebiter from the planet Krog, is giving his demands to the UK Primeminister. The disarming charm of the Tea Folk, together with the delicious taste of Tetley, gets the two parties talking, and unwittingly they save the entire human race – That’s Better, That’s Tetley. 

The campaign is the first made for Tetley by Creature London, since the agency won the business following a competitive pitch last year.
