Nicky Bryson has returned to agency land,
joining TBWA\Sydney as head of strategy, reporting into chief strategy
officer Matt Springate.
Says Springate: "I'm really excited that
Nicky has joined us. I was looking for a strategic partner to help add
new smarts to our offering. This new role is deserving of her talent and
I'm looking forward to seeing Nicky flourish as a senior leader within
the agency."
With a wealth of strategic industry experience,
Bryson started as a qual/quant researcher at the House of Brand, before
moving to creative agencies such as Leo Burnett and M&C Saatchi and
most recently consultancy at PwC. Bryson has worked across brands
including; Woolworths, CBA, GIO, Myer, Caltex, Vodafone and Nestle, as
well as Government and start-ups.
Leading brand strategy within PwC's CMO Advisory, Bryson advised on
business to brand transformation and the power of brands to drive
commercial impact. She believes strongly in the role that creativity
should play in driving business growth, and the ability for agencies to
unlock this.
Says Springate: "Nicky's generous and nurturing
nature is the perfect fit to help mentor and lead our strategy
department and she will bring a wealth of knowledge and insight.
Returning to the creative side from her consultancy role at PwC is a
positive statement about where she sees the future of brands. I'm
