Smoke with Jeff Sessions to Kick Off Viceland’s Weed Week

With more states continuing to move toward the legalization of marijuana, VICELAND is lighting up its second annual Weed Week, running from Monday 4/16 – Friday 4/20, adding a healthy dose of smoke to its air with sneak previews of its most popular shows — "F*CK THAT’S DELICIOUS" and "MOST EXPENSIVEST” — in addition to weed-themed extended episodes and marathons of its other herbally-minded shows including “WEEDIQUETTE”, “BONG APPÉTIT”, “SLUTEVER” and as always the weed adjacent number one show in late night DESUS & MERO. 

VICELAND enlisted independent media company Noble People to devise a subversive stunt to build buzz for the programming event and so,  “Smoke Weed with Jeff Sessions” was born. The promotion invites VICELAND fans and cannabis enthusiasts alike, (age 21 and over in the Metro D.C. area) --   to “Smoke With Jeff Sessions”on Friday, 4/13 from 4:20pm – 7:30pm.

As the current and notoriously anti-cannabis Attorney General, Jeff Sessions, is unfortunately unavailable for the event, VICELAND found another Jeff Sessions (from Wisconsin) to serve as his stand in. Guests will be invited to an undisclosed location, which will be unveiled prior to the event. Once inside, everyone will be able to smoke with Jeff Sessions, kick around the space for photo opps, and also visit the VICELAND Bus parked outside to pick up a bunch of Weed Week swag.

All this week leading up to the event, the VICELAND Bus will visit key locations throughout DC inviting passerby’s to swing by and get high with Jeff Sessions. Street teams will also be passing 

rolling tray postcards in select areas around DC.
