Short continues to win awards and gain nominations for Warren and his Team

It has been a fantastic week for Cusp as the short film has received more awards, nominations and official selections.

Top awards from The Indie Fest Film Awards, with a special mention for the film as well as Award of Excellence nods to director Oliver Warren, cinematographer Simonluca Fraioli, lead actor Joeseph Tremain, supporting actor Derek Hutchinson and original score for Esmeralda Conde Ruiz - now her second award for the beautiful music she created for the film.

This week also saw Cusp announced in the official selection for the Melbourne Underground Film Festival in September, and the International Filmmaker Festival of World Cinema in Milan in November. The latter, coming with an additional four nominations for Best Short, Talented New Director, Best Supporting Actor in a Short and Best Original Score.

The entire team behind Cusp are delighted with the awards, the nominations and the chance for even more people around the world to see the film.

Director Oliver Warren says: "Awards are the icing on the cake when it comes to short film production: myself and the whole team loved making this film, and for it to find such a receptive global audience is a testament to the hard work and passion that every single on of us put into. This leap into fiction has been everything I hoped it would be, and I can't wait to start directing more short, feature and commercial fiction."

Cusp is only at the beginning of its festival season and so we look forward to even more screening announcements soon.
