SET Names Alasadair Lloyd-Jones President, CSO

Promotion part of global growth strategy for creative agency

SET, an experientially led creative agency, has appointed Alasdair Lloyd-Jones as president and chief strategic officer. Lloyd-Jones takes the reigns of the rapidly growing firm that translates brand propositions into custom, interactive experiences for consumers.  An increasing demand for brand activations that integrate digital and social experiences with the physical space has led to SET’s expansion from its Portland, Oregon headquarters to offices in New York and Los Angeles with the company preparing for growth into global markets.

Lloyd-Jones joins an agency that has grown by more than 180 percent in the past three years to $30 million in revenues in 2013. In 2014 alone, SET has added 29 employees, bringing its workforce to 89 in the U.S.  With increasing demand for SET’s delivery worldwide, the agency has identified key locations that promise exceptional talent as well as growth opportunities. The firm is establishing a presence in Europe with an office in London, U.K., and is evaluating options in Brazil to address Latin America markets and in Singapore to fulfill the needs of Asian Pacific customers. Lloyd-Jones will be instrumental in assembling creative and strategic talent across SET’s markets and in setting the strategic goals, direction and culture for each office and the firm as a whole.

Prior to joining SET, Lloyd-Jones spent two years as chief operating officer at Big Spaceship, where he developed and implemented a strategic vision for the company and its digital practice. He has held senior positions in advertising in the U.K. and the U.S., including stints at Y&R London, Deutsch LA, Ogilvy LA, Publicis NY and Cutwater SF, where he was co-president and chief strategic officer. He has led brand strategy across a wide range of categories and has led companies across a number of disciplines, from traditional advertising to digital, social, experiential and new technologies.
