Sandstorm are known for producing high-end films for some of the world’s leading brands. It is also common knowledge that Sandstorm also have a hit track record of producing music videos for artists such as Chase & Status, Loadstar and Calyx & Teebee.
May 2018 sees the release of ‘Intravenous’ the brand new single from drum and bass masters; Calyx and Teebee. To accompany this hit single in the making, Sandstorm worked with the band to create a visual feast.
Shot at God’s Own Junkyard in London on Sandstorm’s Arri Alexa cameras, the music video follows Calyx as he navigates his way around beautiful and talented sirens who are attempting to lure him into their grasp.
The concept of the video was created and directed by Sandstorm Producer Marie-Ann Morrell after the entire team were played the track and given the opportunity to pitch their vision. This freedom was made possible thanks to the collaborative approach that Calyx and Teebee gave to the project, which has resulted in a film that creatively enhances the song for the visual medium.
