Agency sweeps board at Brand Event Awards, Eventia and FMBE

 

RPM’s winning streak continues with news that the experiential marketing agency ended November with a hat trick. RPM is now the proud owner of Brand Event Awards’ 2012 Grand Prix, Eventia’s coveted 2012 ‘Platinum Award’ and Field Marketing & Brand Experience (FMBE) awards, receiving 12 in total.
 
In addition to scooping top awards, RPM also won Brand Event Awards’ ‘Best Alcoholic Drinks Event Strategy’ (for Smirnoff presents Sensation) and ‘Best FMCG Event Strategy’ (for M&S Agricultural Shows). Meanwhile, over at Eventia, RPM was busy winning three Golds: ‘Events Services Supplier of the Year’ (RPM Promotional People), ‘Best Public Event’ (Talisker Sail-in Cinema) and ‘Best Brand Experience’ (Talisker Sail-in Cinema); and two Silvers: ‘Best Brand Experience’ (M&S Agricultural Shows) and ‘Best Public Event’ (Smirnoff presents Sensation).
 
These latest wins come hot on the heels of multiple wins at the FMBE Awards on 21st November. Here, RPM took home ‘Experience Brand of the Year’ and ‘Brand Fans Award’ for Sky, plus Silver for the ‘Most Effective Integration / Amplification’ and Bronze for the ‘Most Immersive Event’ for Talisker’s Sail-in Cinema.
 
Smirnoff presents Sensation delivered a one-of-a-kind experience at the O2. Sensation is the ‘Cirque de Soleil’ of dance events for which RPM built a huge, three-tiered deluxe platform over O2 seating, alongside three dedicated bespoke Smirnoff bars around the Sensation arena floor. The sell-out event created enough buzz to generate almost five million total views on Facebook, surpassing targets by 150%.
 
Talisker Sail-in Cinema stayed true to the brand’s maritime heritage by engaging consumers at Cowes Week. The project allowed sailors to moor up and enjoy the classic film, Master and Commander, on the waters off Cowes Esplanade. The activity captured the nation’s imagination to generate 171 million total target impressions.

Brand Event Awards, a joint collaboration between Marketing and Event magazines, celebrate the event marketing strategies of the globe’s biggest brands. The Eventia Awards honour outstanding business-to-business and business-to-consumer events. The FMBE Awards, judged by industry clients, recognise the pinnacle of all face-to-face marketing campaigns.
