The Full Service mixes modern glamour with effortless practicality

It was the start of a beautiful friendship when Samsonite first teamed up with London-based creative agency The Full Service. And this 2017 it’s set to flourish even more as they get ready to release round two.

Over two days and using four Park Royal stages, the one-stop-shop creative agency captured everything needed for a whopping 360-degree campaign. It features the new Samsonite Business range, the Lady Handbag collections and - of course - a line up of stellar talent.

The result is a back-to-work campaign that mixes modern glamour with effortless practicality, just like the bags.

Now all Samsonite needed was some smart creative to match... And that’s exactly what they got from The Full Service. This content will spread across a global campaign including film, stills, interactive content, social media content, a massive OOH offering and a microsite that takes user friendly to a sexy, new level.

The microsite is a triumph of interactive technology: Pick a character, any character from the awesome line up of influencers, then interact and explore the backpack to find out just how boss the product is. And do ALL this while finding out cheeky little storybook narratives about each personality, the likes of which include Jack Guinness and Clara Paget - who are both way too cool for school.

Then, at the opposite end of the scale, take the OOH campaign: not only will it decorate the major airports of Europe and Asia, plus key-locations in the city’s metropoles, but (and it’s a big but) each one will have a bespoke image and layout.

This is a campaign where massive scale meets delicate detail and, as we all know, the devil is in the details. Rankin, who founded The Full Service and directed the Samsonite campaign said: “I’ve never done anything like this before, but that’s what The Full Service is about. We always do something that’s bonkers, untried, untested, we take risks and they pay off. This super shoot will pave the way for creative marketing in the future.”

Both marketing-wise and on a product-design level, neither agency nor brand have ever settled for less than amazing. And this time it’s no different. That’s why The Full Service and Samsonite make such an impressive and exciting duo. We can’t wait to see what comes next!
