Radio LBB: Japan in the '80s

Music supervision agency DOLCE has compiled some of their favourite Japanese records from the 1980s. 

The list features a variety of synthpop, new wave, ambient and technological exotica that highlights the range of diverse, experimental music coming out of Japan at the time. 

The era was heavily influenced by the seminal techno-pop group Yellow Magic Orchestra, who made a huge impact on popular music culture in both Japan and around the world.
