Egypt, Sri Lanka and Sweden join the community at the Production Service Network
Production Service Network (PSN) has announced the addition of three new partners - Sri Lanka, Egypt and Sweden - to their global community. These new additions see the network grow to cover 44 countries worldwide.

Each new location offers up its own set of unique features. In Egypt, Cairo is a well-established regional hub of the film industry for the Middle East and Africa. It boasts experienced and artistic crews with very competitive priced studios and labour. Sri Lanka provides what amounts to 365 days of summer with a full 12 hours of day light every day. The permitting process is simple and you are able obtain a visa on arrival making it the best place to duplicate an Indian location. As the third largest country in Europe, Sweden offers a wide range of settings from snowy mountains and untouched wilderness to vibrant cityscapes and quaint villages. The Swedes are highly recognised all over the world for their skills in producing simple but stunning design and architecture. The film industry is equally as creative and the country’s Viking roots mean that film crews never ask twice about going to the most impassable places.

Sweden

Joakim Harder, Partner at PSN Sweden comments: "We are very pleased to be joining PSN and participating in its worldwide network. We look forward to facilitating productions in beautiful Sweden and introducing our country as a scenically diverse and production-friendly film destination with a high degree of professionalism. Whether you are looking for breathtaking, unspoiled nature, a modern city-vibe or cool Scandinavian design, Sweden has it all!”

Priyanga T. Kumarisiri, Partner at PSN Sri Lanka comments: "We are very excited to become a global player and a partner with PSN. We look forward to facilitating shoots for producers from around the world and helping them discover Sri Lanka and the Maldives as a cost effective and friendly film destination. We are a small island with large diversity if one is willing to travel. It is a land like no other. Welcome to paradise!"

Sri Lanka

Amin El Masri, Partner at PSN Egypt comments: "As a newcomer to PSN, we look forward to (and strive towards) two key aims: To benefit from being part of a very strong worldwide network - with all of its resources and professional partners enabling shoots worldwide - and to put Egypt on the map as a culturally diverse, production friendly and cost-efficient destination for international production companies and agencies from around the globe. Our first collaboration with a PSN partner, Greece, has already wrapped successfully and another is in development."

Michael Moffett, Founder of PSN, comments on the new additions: “We are absolutely delighted to expand PSN to include Sri Lanka, Egypt and Sweden. We spend a lot of time at PSN hand-selecting the best production service providers and we’re confident that our customers will benefit greatly from having these additional, comprehensive shoot options.”
