The Advertising Producers Association's week-long industry training event returns for another year
The APA has kicked off the week with the launch of its 2017 Masterclass.

Created in 2001, the APA Masterclass is now established as the industry standard training course for people - whether working for our members or for advertising agencies - who are on their way to becoming producers.

Now in its 16th year and with 110 students, this year’s Masterclass continues to build upon its previous successes, giving students unparalleled access to the expertise of industry figureheads.

Over the course of a week, students get to hear from professionals such as: Steve Davies (APA), Seb Edwards (Academy), Charlotte Fuller & Kate Arton (PI Film Network) and Simon Eakhurst & Paz Parasmand (Stink) among others.

The APA Masterclass covers a broad range of topics, giving students essential apprehension of the diverse and differing aspects of production. We provide instruction on topics such as; budgeting, breaking down scripts, casting, new technologies, contracts, insurance, locations, equipment, stunts, eco-productions and many more.

This diverse programme of lectures, tutorials, field trips, demonstrations and practical tasks involve students in a dynamic way, developing practical skills to enable them to become the next generation of world class production professionals.

Head to the APA’s Twitter to stay up to date throughout the week.
