Pitch and Sync Releases Latest Tracks of The Week
Music and sound agency Pitch & Sync reveal the latest and hottest new artists, songs and albums that they’ve been listening to in their weekly instalment of Tracks of the Week.
This week's selection is inspired by the ongoing Cannes Festival. Read below to see how they made their choices.

Jerry Paper
Paper distorts reality to make it fun, adding his own take of funk with subtle jazzy keys and melodic, plucked strings that echo in the distance. ‘Your Cocoon’ is an invitation into a warped world of psychedelic slacker sounds, creating both a contagious and completely chaotic sound.
Chaka Khan
‘Like Sugar’ finds The Queen of Funk getting her groove on like it’s still 1978. Khan teams with Major Lazer producer Switch on the track, which rides a funky bassline, a classic dance beat and an infectious chorus.
Fantastico Negrito
‘Bullshit Anthem’, is a protest song with a simple mantra to not let systemic oppression and legacies of racism define a person’s life or keep a person down. Taken from the brand new album 'Please Don't Be Dead'!
Miss Red
‘One Shot Killer’ weighs up a drowsier, muggier sound than A-side ‘Dagga’, but well worth a listen.
Leon Vynehall
Rich organic textures and jazzy melodies give this not-quite-ambient track a lifelike expressiveness.
