VHI recently launched VHI
Life. Agency Publicis Dublin asked Piranha Bar to evolve the CG fabric
world from the VHI Health Insurance campaign by creating a nautical nirvana.
Gavin Kelly and his team
refined the aesthetic of the previous VHI campaign and applied it to more
complex characters, with lip-sync animation and Piranha Bar’s invented heavenly
worlds.
The
family-friendly animation finds its focus on the subject of aquatic heaven. Be
it in the sea or sky, fish mortality is definitely easier to work out than our
own, and so, an endearing, soft humour swims through the ad. The tactile warmth
of the overall look, combined with the humanity of the animation, has created a
charming VHI life world.
