Persol Promotes Passion with Apple Legend and World's Oldest Supermodel

Japanese based comprehensive human resources brand Persol Group have released a new commercial featuring Apple designer, Steve Wozniak and the world's oldest supermodel, 85-year old Carmen Dell'Orefice. The two are featured as part of a campaign to promote working hard for success, personal satisfaction and finding happiness.

In a recent interview Wozniak, who designed and hand-built the Apple I and Apple II computer says, "my greatest formula for happiness is don't be sad, don't let, don't think or care about things so much. You are going to be upset" and "don’t argue because you don't wind up happier".

Wozniak's diplomatic words reflect the Persol brand campaign slogan “Work, and Smile” which represents how the company aims to offer working people diverse opportunities for growth. Wozniak's career philosophy, and inventions, which are used by millions of people around the world, make him an ideal ambassador and voice of passion and legitimate career success. 

As part of the same campaign, Carmen Dell' Orefice is also featured in her own PERSOL commercial. Known as the world’s oldest working supermodel, she first featured on the cover of Vogue magazine at age 15 and has been modelling ever since.

Carmen is an outspoken advocate of taking the 'freedom to redesign our lives' and she chose to pursue a modelling career even after her first dip into the modelling industry was not initially successful. She's publicly admitted that her first shoot photos were not good and were well received but despite this she chose to continue and has found modelling work for the past 70 years through personal determination and a tireless work ethic.
