Omnicom Media Group Wins Central Group in Thailand

Central Group, a family-owned conglomerate holding company in Thailand, has appointed Omnicom Media Group’s agencies OMD and PHD to its media business for its brands within merchandising, real estate, retail and hospitality sectors. The account was won without a pitch, and covers strategic media and communications planning and buying across all media platforms. The incumbents for the account were MEC and Mindshare Thailand.

The account has been split between both agencies, with OMD picking up media duties for Central Department Store Group, Central Food Retail Group, Central Hardline Group and Officemate Group while Central Pattana, Central Marketing Group, Centara and Central Restaurant Group falls under PHD’s remit.
