Okay Studio Heats Up Virgin Active's Latest Campaign 'The Pack'

London post production house Okay Studio recently collaborated with Virgin Active on the new campaign film "The Pack”.

Working closely with director Mads Perch, Okay Studio handled the film’s complete post workflow including edit, animation, colour grade and online.

Nikolaj Belzer, senior editor on the film, said: “It was great fun working alongside Mads and Virgin Active’s Creative Director Joanna Sheppard. The edit was all about recreating the pace and intensity of the Pack classes while maintaining the slick feel of the photography. We had to deliver six different cuts for up to five territories each -  a lot of variables involved and a big creative challenge. In the end it came together great, a fantastic team effort."

Ludovic Roussaux, colourist at Okay Studio, commented on the approach of the director: “It was interesting translating the brief from the stills campaign to moving image. Mads had a clear vision of how he wanted the film to look which was challenging to reproduce in the colour grade, due to the richness of the neons and blacks, but hugely rewarding once the film was completed."

The films are released this month in all of Virgin Active’s international online outlets, gyms and on animated billboards throughout the London Underground network.
