Nicholas Berglund Director Albert Uria Reimagines Iconic Coca-Cola Campaign

Nicholas Berglund recently signed Albert Uria for representation an we’re now proud to share Albert’s latest film for Coca-Cola Zero Sugar called ‘First Taste’.

It is a TV campaign showing an old man fleeing the retirement home having  taken his first ever sip of the drink, making him wonder about all the other things he hasn’t tried or done. He embarks on an adventure, telling an old flame he loves her, before being promptly rebuked. From here he gets a tattoo, joins a biker gang, visits a pride festival and takes a bold dive bomb into a pool.

The ad is a soft reboot or homage to Wieden + Kennedy Amsterdam’s 'First Taste' ad that rolled out in 2006.

Alber Uria is an LA based director originally from Barcelona. Albert’s trademark style features strong acting performances combined with a highly aesthetic visual style that keeps him high on the wish list of European Agencies.
