New C41 and Nike Film Shines Spotlight on Italy's Filipino Basketball Community

Italian magazine C41, in collaboration with Nike, presents a film that tells a story of passion, union and basketball.

The film, directed by Italian-Russian director Van Khokhlov, tells the story of a community often left in the shadows. The Philippine community is one of the biggest foreign communities in Italy. There are around 50,000 Filipinos in the Lombard capital, making up 10% of the foreign inhabitants of the zone. And yet most are unaware of their contributions to the country and passion for sports. 

C41 and Nike's 'Kicks and Playgrounds' shines a spotlight on these vibrant characters.
