Mosquitonic Transforms Leftover Tonic Water into Mosquito Repellent
The first spring days bring the first open air cocktails. And everything would be great if it weren’t for the mosquitoes.
That’s why at a launch event in Milan, tonic water brand Thomas Henry and creative agency DLVBBDO presented 'Mosquitonic', a spray cap that fits perfectly on Thomas Henry bottles and transforms them into powerful anti-mosquito sprays.
The agency and Thomas Henry have found the solution to an age-old problem. No advanced technology, but a simple observation: when you order a drink with tonic water, you always leave some in the bottle. And that’s what gave the agency the idea - because tonic water contains quinine, a natural mosquito repellent.
