Tweeted symphony scores & an electrified liquor package among winners

The 43rd annual International Mobius Awards selected Best of Show Awards in 10 mediums.


 Heimat, Berlin, won in Branded Content/Entertainment for "All Eyes On S4," a live video camera promotion of the Samsung S4 smartphone, and in Cinema/In-flight for "And What Will Remain of You," a Hornbach Home Improvement Superstores hymn to the lasting nature of the home improvement project.  


Havas Worldwide Amsterdam won in Public/Media Relations for "Tweetphony," an 8-hour live concert consisting of 33 compositions sent by Tweet to encourage donations to the Dutch Metropole Orchestra. The estimated public relations value was one million euros. 


Havas Worldwide Paris won in Print for its "Architecture Museum Paris" campaign that depicted the museum as art, chiseled from a single block of stone.


BETC Paris was selected in integrated Campaigns for "Baby & Me," a rejuvenation of Evian bottled water's "Live Young" campaign.  


Droga5 Australia, Sydney, received BOS in Direct for "Stories for Every Journey," 10 custom-written books for the pleasure of Platinum One Frequent Flyers on Qantas Airlines. 


In Brochure/Book, Hornall Anderson, Seattle, celebrated 30 years of design and discovery with "Happy Accidents Book." Jack Anderson , founder of Hornall Anderson, noted in his blog that the book “pays homage to the clients and projects that have played a vital role in helping us to become who we are today.”


Abby Norm, Stockholm, won In New Media for "Photoshop Live-Street Retouch Prank," in which viewers are startled to see their modified images in a street-level monitor. It was done for Adobe.


Webb deVlam, London, won in Package Design for "Bombay Sapphire Electro," which used electrically-stimulated inks on containers to attract travelers' attention, a first in the spirits arena. It was done for Bacardi-Martini, London.


The Gang Films, Paris, won in Television for "The Sailor," promoting the house of Jean Paul Gaultier's new men's fragrance, Kokorico.  The advertiser was BPI Paris.


All nominees also earned First Place Mobius Awards.


The overall competition awarded 45 First Place Mobius Award Golden Statuettes, 55 Second Place Certificates for Outstanding Creativity, and two Student Awards. Entries came from 15 countries.  Find more information and videos at www.mobiusawards.com.
