Mode of transportation to Cannes
BMG’s private airline
How are you getting from the airport?
On our bicyclettes
Bunking with my BMG buddies somewhere in Cannes.
Cannes Bed Time:
One, possibly two bedtimes for the week.
Cannes Wake Up Time:
First morning back in our London office
Top Spot for a Meeting:
Gutter bar - 3AM, sharpish.
Toss-up between L’Antidote (if someone else is paying) and L'Angle des Saveurs for their Truffle Pizza.
Favourite Watering Hole:
The many natural Rosé springs on La Croisette.
Favourite Shopping destination:
Best Guest List to be on:
Ninja Tune’s Friday night bash.
Tourist Site/Activity not to be missed:
A trip along the coast to Villefranche-sur-Mer at the end of the week to process things before the trip home.
Top Cannes tip:
Make sure you do some business, otherwise you’re probably not going again next year.
Business cards and shamelessness.
'From Home’ comfort item:
Staying in Cannes is in almost every sense more comfortable than my home already.
First thing you do when you get to Cannes:
Say hi to my international colleagues / remind them that I’m much more agreeable in real life than over emails… and apologise for my delayed response.
Cannes exercise of choice:
Walking anywhere in flip flops is exhausting.
Top Cannes Celebrity Spot:
I am oblivious to this kind of thing.
Who would you like to meet:
I heard Johnny Marr will be around this year.
Favourite Cannes tipple/soft drink?
The Rosé is good enough for me.
Best hangover cure:
Pain killers, Dioralyte and the Ocean.
LBB & Friends Beach:
Best time to be on the LBB & Friends Beach:
First thing in the morning when it’s quiet. Dive right into the sea for a rebirth experience.
Best spot to get your lounger on the beach:
If I have the choice, I let my ears guide me on this one. Somewhere you can get the right balance of sound from the sea, music from the DJ and not too many other British accents.
What are you putting in the LBB Beach goody bag?
Hand fans with some of our funky album artwork!
