MCCY Appoints O&M Singapore for Two Nation-building Campaigns

Ogilvy & Mather Singapore (O&M) today announced that it has been appointed as the creative agency to deliver two new creative campaigns for Singapore’s Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY) in 2017, with Maxus Communications Singapore as media partner.

O&M’s assignment includes the development of an integrated communications plan to strengthen the Singapore spirit. The two campaigns were won following a competitive pitch.

O&M will spearhead publicity efforts to invite Singaporeans to share their views on their ideal visitor experience for a memorial that seeks to honour the values of Singapore’s founding leaders. O&M will also deliver a campaign to reach out to Singaporean youth on the country’s shared values of resilience, unity and togetherness in difficult times.

“We are delighted to further our partnership with O&M in undertaking projects that amplify our Singapore spirit. Having worked together since 2013 on SG50 publicity initiatives, we are confident in the agency’s understanding of our objectives, and their ability to deliver campaigns that will resonate with Singaporeans,” said Tangie Kay, Deputy Director, Marcomms, Resilience Division, MCCY.
