The sequel to Max Cooper's debut release 'Human' in 2014, 'EMERGENCE' incorporates influences from neo-classical, techno and IDM, and is a sonic accompaniment to his latest A/V show.
The record soundtracks a new series of 11 pieces of video art which he describes as: “the story of the development of the universe, the way in which very complex things like human beings were created from the immaterial by the action of simple laws.” (Max has a Ph.D in Computational Biology)
Once again Max has collaborated with neo-classical pianist Tom Hodge and vocalist Kathrin de Boer on 'EMERGENCE', creating an epic, operatic, ambitious amalgamation between AV show, scientific research project, art installation and IDM record.
The album release is followed by a European Tour, including shows in London, Paris and Amsterdam.
