Manners McDade Releases New Soft-Cover Version of Sold-Out Music Book by Nils Frahm

In recent years, Manners McDade have produced two hard backed art and music books by Nils Frahm - SHEETS EINS (2013) and SHEETS ZWEI (2016). 

Sheets Eins quickly sold out and has since become a collectors’ item.  Rather than simply reprint, the publishers have instead produced a high quality soft-cover version of the book. 

The sheet music for ten of Nils Frahm's piano pieces taken from his albums Felt, The Bells and Wintermusik are available in this new format.

In the book, Frahm has written a personal introduction to each piece and includes diagrams and instructions how to convert your piano to achieve his signature 'Felt' sound. 

Says Frahm,"If you are like me and have a hard time reading sheet music, don't be sad.  You can still be a good pianist.  It might be a bit painful to memorise it bar by bar, but when you have committed it all to your memory and know it by heart, you will be able to put the book away and focus on the expression of the piece.  And if even that does not work, don't be sad either.  I'm sure you are very good at something else."

Design for both hard and soft cover versions is by FELD Studio for digital crafts, based in Berlin. Printed in Germany.
