Lowe Vietnam has appointed Michael Ton to the new role of Client Services Director. As part of the key management team, Michael will be responsible for leadership across three core areas for the agency - building capabilities, developing business and mentoring talent. He will play an integral role in an expanding management function, led by Managing Director, Michel Borelli.

Michael joins Lowe Vietnam from Phenomenon, Los Angeles, where, as Brand Director, he led strategic marketing for Coca Cola, Wilsons Sporting Goods and others.  Throughout his 15+ years in the industry, Michael has helped develop and manage award-winning, integrated multi-channel marketing solutions for iconic global brands including Microsoft, Motorola, Activision. An American born of Vietnamese origins, he has worked for some of the top US agencies, including Goodby Silverstein & Partners, GSD&M, Dentsu and Grey Worldwide.

Michel Borelli says: “Michael is an excellent leader and strategist, with a stellar track record of delivery across integrated campaigns, digital and new technology. His credentials fit perfectly with our ambitions to build on our non-traditional capabilities and drive growth. On top of this, Michael has a thoughtful understanding of both Vietnam and wider markets. I am extremely happy to have him in our growing management team.”

Michael Ton comments: “Vietnam really has always felt like second home to me, and in recent years I’ve been stunned by the dynamic change taking place there. The energy, the will to progress, in commerce and across the country as a whole - it’s very inspiring. Lowe is one of Vietnam’s most recognized agencies, and it is truly an exciting prospect to be part of this team, driving business forward together.”
