LOLA MullenLowe Sweeps El Ojo Festival
LOLA MullenLowe, the creative hub agency of the MullenLowe Group in Spain, has had a record breaking year at El Ojo de Iberoamerica Festival that wrapped up in Buenos Aires on November 4th. El Ojo (The Eye) is the leading advertising festival for the Spanish and Portuguese speaking markets and has been for 18 years.
Francisco “Pancho” Cassis, Executive Creative Director of LOLA MullenLowe in Madrid, was named Best Creative Director in Spain while the agency won Best overall in Spain. In addition, Líbero Magazine was named Best Marketer in Spain after taking home a Grand Prix, three gold, four silver and six bronze statues with LOLA MullenLowe.
The 43 awards won at this year´s festival for LOLA MullenLowe, included work from nine different clients that include Magnum, Cornetto, and Scrabble, and twelve different campaigns, making it an unprecedented success for the agency and clients.
MullenLowe SSP3 Colombia also took home five awards including one gold for their “Chocó to Dance” campaign which aims to raise funds for advanced education in exchange for dance lessons from the people from one of Colombia's poorest regions. Ponce MullenLowe Argentina won two bronze and two silver for Unilever's Axe and Argentina Telecom while Brazil won silver in design for Tres Corações. Ginkgo MullenLowe Uruguay and LOLA MullenLowe also collaborated on a campaign for Pilsen Soul that took home silver.
