Little Black Book to host two day workshop about production and post

Making an ad is as simple as lights, camera, action – right? Not always. That’s why we’re launching the LBB Academy, an event which puts the production process in the spotlight.

The LBB team have been lucky enough to work in agencies, post house and production companies and we know that collaboration is the key to great advertising – and that’s always easier when everyone involved has a good awareness of what each party actually does. We also know just how tricky it can be to understand how a seemingly ‘little’ fix or a ‘short cut’ in production can have a knock on effect in the process.

The LBB Academy will cut through the jargon and invite everyone from clients to creatives, account staff to TV producers to peer behind the curtain and learn how commercials make the leap from storyboard to screen. Discussion-led workshops will be chaired by insiders from across production and post who share our love for the industry. Ever harboured any questions or curiosity about the production process? You only need to ask. As an open and informal forum, the LBB Academy gives you the chance to raise the issues that matter to you.

Little Black Book would like to invite clients and agency staff to the LBB Academy. The event will take place from 17-18 September in London. Space on this free and interactive workshop is limited, so let us know who from your company could benefit from a very rare, very rounded couple of days of education. Contact Matt Cooper matt@LBBOnline.com or +44 (0) 207 539 8575.

The two-day event will bring client and agency together in a production/post-production environment, in order to understand just how a spot is put together. The Academy experience is an opportunity to gain the knowledge and insight that can take up to 10 years in the advertising industry to learn.
