Agency collaborates with a range of illustrators to celebrate Record Store Day

JWT London has created a poster campaign in which the independent shops and restaurants of Soho can use to promote their fellow independent record stores.

Each poster features a visual related to a popular business found in Soho, with a vinyl twist. Stores can select the poster most relevant to them, write their name on it to show they support the day’s events and stick them up to tell their customers where Soho's record stores are. The agency collaborated with a range of illustrators with a passion for vinyl, including Jordan Cheung, Toby Leigh and Paul Bower.

Dave Dye, Head of Art at J. Walter Thompson London, said: “The guys had a friend at Record Store Day and wanted to help out. I said ‘fine, providing we do something that actually helps out the record shops."

Illustrators: Jordon Cheung (Breast), Toby Leigh (Pizza), Paul Bower (Coffee), Dave Anderson (Button), Mario Wagner (Pool ball), Chris Gilvan Cartwright (Ramen)
