Promotions are part of an aggressive growth strategy by the agency

isobel, today, announces the promotion of John Hobson, head of content and Bridget Fitzpatrick, head of new business to the isobel Board of Directors.

They join the founding partners - Paul Houlding, Steve Hastings, Rob Fletcher and David Alexander alongside the finance director, Sue Laing and the head of account management, Jamie Williams.

The promotions are part of an aggressive growth strategy by the agency as it moves to a broader content and advertising delivery.

Hobson joined isobel as head of content via CHI/The & Partnership where he led Virgin Money and Hive. Previously he was also responsible for Sony, Sky, Smirnoff & the much-awarded campaign for Marmite. His impact has been quickly felt at isobel - implementing cross platform content for a number of key clients including the soon to be relaunched Danepak.

Fitzpatrick, a native New Yorker, joined isobel from Grey - where she had worked for 10 years in both the London and New York offices. Since joining isobel in 2014 as head of new business she has been instrumental in winning a number of new clients.

Isobel works with some of the UK’s best-known businesses helping to build their brands; including National Express (recent award winning David Soul campaign), Hammerson (including Bullring and Brent Cross shopping centres), Danepak, Diageo and Bordeaux Wines.

Commenting on the decision to appoint Fitzpatrick and Hobson to the board - Paul Houlding, Managing Partner, says: “We have invested in some seriously good talent with different skill sets and these promotions are nothing more than they deserve.”
