Last night, creative agency Johannes Leonardo took home three Effie Awards for work from adidas Originals and Bleacher Report.
For adidas Originals, the agency received a Gold Global Effie for its “Original is Never Finished” campaign. In 2017, the campaign took home the Music Grand Prix at Cannes.
That this work won both a Grand Prix at Cannes and a Gold Effie shows that creatively-driven campaigns can and do have big results.
JL was also awarded a silver North American Effie Award for its Future campaign for adidas Originals.
For Bleacher Report, the agency won a silver North American Effie for “Up Your Game,” a spot that repositioned the 10 year old media company as not only the arbiter of sports news, but the arbiter of sports culture as well.
Earlier this month, Johannes Leonardo also swept the Clio Sports awards, taking home the Grand Clio for “Original is Never Finished.”
